Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is a role of substantial responsibility and accountability. A highly visible role with ultimate responsibility to the Commercial Director and the Board. There will be opportunities for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to contribute to not only the growth, but also the strategic direction of the business.

To provide effective new business development for the organisation and to assist in achieving the strategic ambitions and aims of the Company.

This is an innovative and progressive environment where the Board of Directors are always looking for the next opportunity for growth and scale. The Business Development Manager is required to develop and grow Wintech’s client base, for the next stage of growth and development of the business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation, arrange to meet in person to present Wintech’s consultancy services including façade engineering, sustainability, mechanical & electrical engineering, façade access and fire engineering
  • Generate leads for consultancy services
  • Meet with Clients face to face
  • Foster and develop relationships with Clients
  • Understand the needs of our Client’s and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Be able to clearly articulate and understand the benefits and differentiation in the market that Wintech’s service provides

  • An excellent telephone and personal manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with clients and business associates
