The Wintech team would like to wish you a Happy New Year, and to thank all of our valued clients and collaborators for your continued trust and support in 2023.
2023 has been a hugely another positive year in Wintech’s timeline.
We have introduced and strengthened new services; Fire Engineering & Sustainability Consultancy Services, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering through AVUS Consulting, met with key industry dignitaries; the Rt Hon. Michael Gove MP, West Midlands Mayor Andy Street and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to raise the challenges of the BSA moving forward.
The Wintech team is growing too, and we are not only investing in our people but the future talent of the industry, by investing in education and launching the Wintech Graduate Programme.
These are but a few of the outstanding achievements and developments of 2023.
Thank you to all our clients and followers and we look forward to working with you in 2024.
In a milestone for Wintech, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the University of Wolverhampton, cementing the relationship between the two establishments, while Wintech also had an exclusive invite to attend the consultation of the Future Homes Strategy for West Midlands by Mayor Andy Street.
The Future Homes Strategy event for the West Midlands was opened by Prof Prashant Pillai MBE, and inaugurated by Andy Street and Mark Farmer, announcing £200m to expediate the development of more homes in the region.
Wintech are delighted to have been part of the 4 New Bailey project, and as the eagerly anticipated scheme approaches its completion, it presents an opportune moment to reflect on this landmark project’s unique characteristics.
Wintech Director James Emery commented, “The building is very unique, as are all buildings on New Bailey site. The raison d’être for the project is to showcase the diagrid structure, something quite unusual and special which offers many structural benefits. With such a distinct structure, the façade was designed to enhance and exhibit the structure rather than hide it like so many contemporary buildings.”
We are delighted to share a recent milestone in the Broadway East project, a multiphase residential development in London. Wintech‘s Operations Director, James Smith, visited the Yuanda factory in Shenyang, China.
The collaborative effort involved representatives from St. Williams, RSHP and DDU. James Smith expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It was a great opportunity for the team to witness the proposed mock-up of the unitised façade firsthand and explore the manufacturing and testing facilities. Thank you to Yuanda for facilitating this invaluable visit.”
