Permitted Development

Permitted Development

“Permitted development rights allow owners of a building to make certain building changes and changes of use without having to make a planning application” according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) website.

Several of Wintech’s current projects are PD schemes including former offices converted for residential use in the form of Vantage Point. More recently, Leon House is another office-to-residential high-rise located in Croydon where Wintech are advising on the facade’s requirements for the conversion.

Centre Point is another example; a sixties tower block now accommodating 82 luxury flats.

Permitted Development Rights allow for new homes to be created more quickly.
