New Policy with regards to COVID-19
In the light of the recent events, Wintech would like to reassure our clients and stakeholders that we are currently working towards maintaining business continuity at a reasonable capacity, with the health and well-being of our staff being paramount.
Following the on-going Government Guidance, Wintech have compiled the following policy to provide structure and help see delivery of existing projects and business operations.
Wintech offices will be closed until further Government notice. Essential office-based activities will be coordinated by delegated staff members to ensure functionality and efficiency of the business as usual. All staff members will be working from home and can be individually reached through email and Microsoft Teams. New management systems and softwares have been implemented to accommodate, monitor and organise employee activities and procedures.
Our consultants will continue to attend site visits where the general status remains available for site visitation. All staff are advised to confirm visits are live the day before travelling to a certain location to avoid any abortive travel and face-to-face interactions. This applies to all site based activities such as façade inspections which cannot be done remotely. Travel by car is encouraged as opposed to public transportation, where possible and practical.
Direct contact will therefore be discouraged, and is to be replaced with alternative remote solutions such as online conference calls. Greater reliance will be placed on IT resources rather than traditional face to face meetings.
Wintech are fully aware of the unfortunate circumstances of the exponential spread of COVID-19 and wish to play an active role in containing and slowing it down as much as possible. However, we are positive that we will surpass these hard times together and become a more cohesive productive organisation in the process.
Due to the increased volume of mobile call traffic during this period, the mobile caller might experience a longer period of ring tone before the call is answered on our side.
