Technical Director Appointed
Wintech are delighted to announce the appointment of their new Technical Director, Antony Humphrey. Antony has this week stepped into his new role which will see him lead the company alongside his fellow Directors and leadership team, shaping the next chapter of Wintech’s journey.
Antony joined Wintech in 1991 as a Façade Design Engineer, progressing quickly through the ranks. He has been responsible for some of the largest Wintech projects in the UK and overseas. Antony is well-respected and a leading voice with an exceptional record.
Paul Savidge, Wintech’s Managing Director, stated, “I am really pleased to announce Antony appointment as he champions the qualities of integrity, trust and honesty that are fundamental to us. Antony is renowned for tackling difficult problems and providing help and support to nurture all of his colleagues, from junior members of the team through to his fellow directors; this position recognises Antony’s long-term commitment to staff development.”
Paul adds, “There has never been such fantastic opportunities for Wintech and seizing these will require the entire team to move together in the same direction. I am proud to say that we have an excellent team of directors, who are all immensely committed to the company’s vision. Antony leading technical façade excellence has really strengthened the company going forward and is just what we need.”
Antony comments, “I feel truly fortunate to have this opportunity, it is a great privilege that the Leadership team have asked me to take this role directly supporting the business. I am in an incredibly unique position of having seen Wintech’s growth from small consultancy with supporting design, into the large concern we are today. I hope to bring a depth to the role, to develop our next generation of consultants while not losing sight of the core objectives of the business”.
As Wintech approaches its 40th year in 2023, the company is recognised as the UK’s largest Façade Engineering Consultancy. Paul also states “We are now not only aiming to build on our prior successes with our focus on Façade Engineering, but also now to further develop our Sustainability, Fire Engineering, and Façade Design Consultancy services. We believe that we are now ideally placed to help our client base deal with the new challenges presented by both Net Zero and now also the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 with our unique façade-based consultancy service”
