Centre Point Tower

Before buildings like Centre Point arose in the early 60’s, London retained a skyline of church steeples and domes. Described as a “1960s architectural masterpiece”, the tower block has been restored from a 34-storey office building that is renowned to have stood unoccupied for several years into 82 luxury apartments. Centre Point is the most visible building in the West End, admired from all corners of the capital and its transformation has given the Grade II listed building a new lease of life.

The façade in place is the original since the time it was built in 1966. It was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for Mature Structures in 2009 by The Concrete Society.

Wintech delivered Façade Consultancy services providing window specifications for clients Almacantar who are transforming the scheme into a vibrant residential, restaurant and retail destination; re-establishing Centre Point as a landmark destination for Londoners to be proud of.
