A new development at 20-21 Albert Embankment, London, comprises 3 landmark towers, ranging from 15-27 storeys in height, boasting magnificent views of some of London’s most iconic landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, Battersea Power Station and London Bridge.
Designed by architect Norman Foster of Foster & Partners, The Corniche forms part of a wider regeneration; the largest urban initiative of its kind in Europe. The architects intend to transform this important, highly visible site into a vibrant riverside community. The development offers luxurious one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses which were designed from the inside-out; the residential units define the proportions and slender volumes of each futuristic building. The generous living spaces extend into the deep bays that give The Corniche its distinctive character, with the curved gardens allowing wide cinemascope perspectives of the river, unlike typical box enclosures. Floor to ceiling glazing provides a sense of space and natural light.
