The Lexicon has been described as a geometric marvel. Defined by its distinctive silhouette, the tower is an elegant 36-storey mixed-use scheme situated at 261 City Road, Islington and bordering Angel, Shoreditch, Clerkenhall and Farringdon.
The innovative unitised curtain wall brings 360 degree views of the city, the waterside and beyond. Every apartment is enclosed in floor-to-ceiling glass without seams or edges ensuring maximised uninterrupted views. The cladding system uses integrated louvres, sliding panels and fixed glass to create a smooth skin. The Lexicon acts as a signpost for the City Road Basin, mirroring the tall towers of the city to the South.
Wintech have provided Facade Engineering Consultancy for clients Mount Anvil. Skidmore, Owings and Merrill were the architects behind the scheme, also famous for Dubai’s mighty Burj Khalifa.
