Tillermans Court, Greenford Quay

A new project situated on the West London waterfront has been defined as a game-changer as one of the UK’s largest purpose-built build-to-rent schemes to date.

Phase One of the Greenford Quay scheme, Tillermans Court (Block 5) is officially complete, providing 379 new homes with an additional 11,000 sq ft of high-quality amenity space plus 26,000 sq ft of retail space. The scheme was the first step to creating a vibrant mixed-use waterfront neighbourhood on what was previously a derelict site.

What is particularly interesting about this project is that it is a volumetric modular construction, which has allowed for an efficient installation process with less time on average spent on-site.

The façade comprises of a mixture of masonry and brickwork as well as glazed curtain walling and module-integrated lightweight balconies which sets the tone for the vibrant community atmosphere on the edge of the Grand Union Canal.

Wintech helped oversee that the development complies with the updated UK Building Regulations and delivered design audits, façade specification, factory visits and site monitoring services on this first phase of the scheme and continue to work on the second building of the development.
